Anai Kadu — meaning 'elephant jungle' in Kodava — is a 50-acre shade-grown farm bordering the Devamachi Reserve Forest in South Coorg, run by third-generation planter Kurian George and his partner Nisha Thomas, who manages post-harvest processing. The estate, part of the larger Pottamkulam family holding since the late 1950s, grows primarily Robusta (CxR and heritage Peradeniya) alongside a small section of Arabica. The name also nods to their daughter Anaika. Wild visitors — elephants, tigers, panthers — are frequent, and the farm practises washed, natural, honey, and fermented-natural processing methods.
