Perched at up to 1,650 metres in the mist-laden Biligiri Ranjan Hills — locally called the 'white hills' for the fog that blankets them year-round — Attikan Estate ranks among India's highest-grown coffee farms. Part of the Sangameshwar Coffee group, the estate cultivates Arabica under a canopy of Silver Oaks, figs, and citrus trees, sharing its terrain with elephants, bison, and over a hundred bird species. Three selective handpicking rounds each harvest ensure only ripe cherries are collected, followed by pulping, fermentation, washing, and sun-drying on raised beds before curing at Sangameshwar's own facility.
