Opened by British planter C.G. Adams in 1873, owned by Wyandhams of Australia until 1953. Now owned by Longview Tea & Agro Ltd. Located along the Pankhabari road with 506 hectares under tea — the largest single-estate Darjeeling tea producer at ~10% of total output (0.7 million kg/year). Employs nearly 2000 workers. Factory was rebuilt after a devastating 2008 fire.
