Started in 1888 as Rungdoo Tea Garden, famously called 'the only okay tea' at London Tea Auctions, giving rise to the name Okayti. One of the highest average elevations of all Darjeeling estates at 4200–6000 ft. Located in Mirik Valley across 208 cultivated hectares with the Mechi river flowing through. Owned by the Kumbhat family.
